I'm Claire. The face behind Creme de Boeuf. Former vegetarian, former calorie counter.
In my late 40's I became interested in Biohacking (simply put..taking control of your own biology and optimising your health and well-being through your lifestyle) I became much more aware of the ingredients that were lurking in my cosmetics and in the foods that I ate. I had lost my Mum to Cancer when she was in her early 60's and was motivated to start avoiding ultra processed foods and toxic cosmetic products at all costs. I started eating organic, unprocessed meat and I started counting chemicals instead of calories.
Apps like Yuka helped me understand the minefield of ingredients in food and cosmetics but I still wanted to find something natural, research led me to the benefits of tallow from grass-fed cows, something our ancestors would have used to cook with and to moisturise their skin.
So why did we start mass producing chemical laden, toxic creams when our skin can absorb up to 60% of what we apply into our bodies?
Creme de Boeuf takes us back to basics. It is hand made in small batches to maintain freshness, this is important due to the main ingredients being organic and natural with zero preservatives.
It will leave your skin feeling nourished and hydrated all day long, you can choose between two different, lightly scented recipes, one was created with Men in mind but I use both variants on my skin as they smell equally good, or go 'Naked' with a fragrance free option. I am confident that these are products you will love as much as I do.
